Anzac Day Dawn Service 2012

Summary;

Pick up from hotels, join the coach drive to Gallipoli, visit must to see parts, dinner on BBQ, watch documentaries about Anzacs and Gallipoli, Find the best point for the commemoration ceremony, join the Dawn Service, drive back to Istanbul.

Itinerary for Anzac Day Dawn Service 2012:

24 APRIL 2012: Pick up form hotels ( 07:00-07:45) and drive to main meeting point in Tophane. ( Our meeting point is just different than the other tour operators, we avoid the big crowd and mess of rush and noice)

The coach will depart at 08:00 from Tophane to Gallipoli, We will serve breakfast package with soft ( hot & cold) beverage on the board for the ones who couldnt make it for breakfast.

The drive to Gallipoli will take approx 4.5 hours ( including one stop for naturel needs). On arrivale there will be a little orienatation from the tour guide ( our guide will be a regional expert for Gallipoli). 

After the lunch visit the important sites of Gallipoli Battlefields: Kabatepe War Museum, Anzac Cove, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair and other sites.

After the tour we will head to our pre-arranged dinner place for BBQ.

The place for overnight is Anzac Cove where the main ceremony takes place.

25 APRIL 2012:            They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

The ceremony starts at 04:30, participants will be joining the ceremony of Dawn Service at Anzac Cove, Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair for both Asutralians and New Zealenders.

After the ceremony we will leave the area towards Istanbul. Breakfast be served on board.

Again one more stop on the way back to Istanbul and drop off at hotels on arrival.

NOTE: The weather might not be very gentle in area, please bring your sleeping bag, if you dont have one or dont want to carry one with you inform us then we can provide you for a  one day use ( 15 Euro, we rent it from suppliers for our guests, no margin is added)
