LAODICEA ANCIENT RUINS CITY

The city is situated 8 km from Pamukkale and was built in the 3rd century by King Antricos II. The city Laodicea was named after his wife Laodicee. Laodicea is an important site to see.

AKHAN CARAVANSARAY

Situated 10 km. away from Pamukkale the Akhan Caravansary is a traditional travelers stop between trade centers.

KAKLIK CAVE (Underground Pamukkale)

Pamukkale has a world-wide reputation. Kaklik Cave on the other hand is less known. Although a native of the region it is only recently that I have come to know Kaklik Cave. It has been discovered in recent years. Kaklik Cave is 36 km from Denizli, a city in southwest Turkey.
