On arrival at Istanbul airport, our team will greet and assist you with your transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy your stay. The rest of your day is free to explore.

Istanbul Highlights City Tour

2. Day: Istanbul Highlights City Tour

Your tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at approximately 08:30 and then you will start your tour of İstanbul city highlights.

Sites you will visit today include the ancient Hippodrome, the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar.

Your English speaking tour guide will accompany you during the tour and give detailed information about the sites in İstanbul .

You will enjoy a great lunch of tasty Turkish cuisine. After the tour you will be dropped back to your hotel.

Bosphorus Cruise Tour in Istanbul

3. Day: Bosphorus Cruise Tour in Istanbul

Pick up at approximately 08:10 this morning for your cruise on the Bosphorus and Spice Bazaar tour. You'll get to appreciate Istanbul from a different perspective as you cruise up the Bosphorus, the strait of water that divides the continents of Europe and Asia, to Istanbul's famous Bosphorus Bridge.

This cruise tour will be a highlight of your time in İstanbul . After the tour, we will drop you back to your hotel. Later, you will be picked up from your hotel with your luggage and we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Kayseri Airport, one of the gateways to the Cappadocia region.

You will be met on arrival at Kayseri airport, where your driver will be waiting for you outside the terminal doors with your name on a sign, and then transferred to your cave hotel.

Cappadocia Sightseeing Tour

4. Day: Cappadocia Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast start your Cappadocia Red Tour. Our first stop of the day will be at the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Göreme Open Air Museum which was once a Byzantine monastic settlement comprised of more than 10 churches, rectories, accommodation and a theological school. You’ll be amazed at the tiny churches carved into the rocks and decorated with frescoes, many of which are in good condition.

Our second stop will be Paşabağ Valley, also called the Monk's Valley, home to some of the best examples of mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. This valley was previously home to a settlement of monks, and today you can climb up into one of the fairy chimneys and see part of their former quarters.

We then drive to Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley”, where some of the most surreal rock formations can be found, many of them shaped like animals. See if you can spot the camel, snake, seal and dolphin-shaped rocks.

We will have lunch at a local cave restaurant in the town of Avanos, which is famous for its pottery. After a tasty lunch of traditional Turkish cuisine, we will visit a local family-run pottery workshop for a kick-wheel pottery demonstration.

Our last stop will be Uçhisar Castle, the highest point of the Cappadocia. This is a great opportunity to get some great panoramic shots of Cappadocia and the fairy chimneys.

After the tour you will be dropped back at your hotel.

Second Day Cappadocia Tour  and Night bus to Pamukkale From Cappadocia

5. Day: Second Day Cappadocia Tour and Night bus to Pamukkale From Cappadocia

Pick up from your hotel between 09:30 and 09:45. Our first stop of the day will be Esentepe, a popular spot for enjoying a panoramic view of Göreme and its fairy chimneys and unique rock formations.

We will then drive to Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the deepest of Cappadocia’s many underground cities, and built by early Christians fleeing from persecution. Including rooms such as stables, cellars, chapels and wineries, you’ll be impressed as you wander through this underground city.

We then drive to Ihlara Valley where we will hike a section of the valley, checking out the tiny churches cut into the rocks, along the way. We will then have some chill time and lunch at Belisirma Village. We will also visit Selime Monastery, the biggest rock-cut cathedral in Cappadocia.

Our last stop is at Pigeon Valley where you will have a great photo opportunity. At the conclusion of the tour we will drop you at Goreme Bus Station where you will pick up your bus ticket and be able to leave your bags while you go and get some dinner before your night bus.

Pamukkale Tour & Overnight in Kusadasi

6. Day: Pamukkale Tour & Overnight in Kusadasi

You will be picked up by our driver at the highway turnoff to Pamukkale, where you will arrive at approximately 06:00. It’s just a 20 minute drive to Pamukkale from here. On arrival in Pamukkale you will be transferred to a hotel in Pamukkale for an opportunity to freshen up and to have some breakfast before starting your Pamukkale tour at 09:30.

Your tour starts with a visit to the nearby village of Karahayit where you will visit the red springs, with waters coloured a rusty-red colour because of the high iron content of the water.

We then drive to the North gate of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed ancient Roman spa town of Hierapolis, and start our tour. Hierapolis was an important place for healing in Roman times because of the believed therapeutic qualities of its waters.

As you wander the ruins with your tour guide, you will see highlights such as the necropolis (graveyard), one of the biggest in the region, with over 1500 graves, the Roman bath, the theatre and the Agora (ancient market). You’ll also hear stories of some of the famous characters from history who visited or lived here including Cleopatra and St Philip, whose tomb is on top of a hill outside the northeastern section of the city walls, and which you will be able to see from a distance.

We’ll then take a break at the Cleopatra Antique Pool where the water is a pleasant 36 degrees Celsius and filled with invigorating minerals. Here, you have the chance to swim over Roman columns which believed to have fallen into the water during an earthquake. Please note that entrance to the swimming pool is an additional 50TL per person, payable at the site.

Your guide will give you free time to paddle in some of the travertine (calcium) pools as you wander down the hill to Pamukkale’s natural park and lake. You will then meet your tour guide for a late lunch.

The tour finishes at approximately 3.30-4.00pm, depending on the size of the group and its interests. You’ll have approximately 30 minutes of free time to wander around the village of Pamukkale before catching your bus to Kusadasi at approximately 16:00. The drive to Kusadasi takes approximately 3.5 hours with a comfort stop halfway. Free evening to explore the charming cruise ship port town of Kusadasi.

Ephesus Tour & Flight to Istanbul from Izmir

7. Day: Ephesus Tour & Flight to Istanbul from Izmir

Pick up from your hotel by your tour guide between 08:30 and 08:45. It's just a 20 minute drive to the magnificent ruins of Ephesus, an ancient Greek city, and later a major Roman city near present day Selcuk. Ephesus was also one of the Seven Churches of Asia, cited in the Book of Revelation. Today it is the most visited ruins site in Turkey, and the best-preserved site in the Mediterranean region.
Excavations of Ephesus began in the 19th Century, and some of the buildings you will see include gymnasiums, agoras, the Domitian Square, the Hadrian Temple, the Roman Bath, the Celsus Library and the biggest theatre in Anatolia with 25,000 seats. As you wander through these well-preserved ruins you will feel as if you have been transported back in time.
Next, we visit the House of the Virgin Mary, which is believed to be the place she was taken to by St John to spend her last days.
Our final stop of the day is the site of the former Temple of Artemis which is one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Here you will learn about why Artemis was so revered by the Ephesians and although just one column remains of the temple you will be able to imagine it in its former glory.
At the end of your tour you will be transferred to Izmir airport for your flight back to Istanbul. You will arrive in Istanbul between 20:00 and 21:20, depending on flight availability, and you will be met on arrival in Istanbul by our driver, who will transfer you back to your hotel.

8. Day: Free Day in Istanbul & Flight back to home

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and enjoy your time until your flight time. 4-4.5 hours prior to your flight, we will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
